Les Gryphons de Montréal† - Griffins win 2:1 and take over 17th
The Griffins beat Team Noname 2:1 August 1st, 2010 taking 17th overall spot off the Brampton Blue Balls hands. Jay Sackic who scored the winning goal had this to say about the victory "We kept possession of the ball and out chanced the opposition with more strikes sent to the goal." Today the Griffins take on DA MAJORR with a chance for 15th in the course of a victory. Bill Lajoie will take over for Everet Marker who was his replacement for the length of his injury.
In other news recently departed Vito McTaggart had 2 goals in his dab u with okapi aalstar the media asked if he thought he would be transferred this early he responded "It was tough to see a new team in a new country from growing up in Canada but with this new club I'll try my best to contribute in all the way I can but I didn't think it would be this soon that I'd see new soil. I have nothing against the GM for sending me else were." The Griffins GM Liam Bevan had this to say on the transfer "I didn't feel like we were getting the production that McTaggart was suppose to put up his main asset to our team was to put balls into the back of the net, as clearly he just didn't do so we put him on the open market to see what offers we could get for him as he could not stay here to not put up any strikes on the board."
GM Bevan believes on there home turf today they can pull out a victory against DA MAJORR with the right tactics. Good luck to the team!
