OAP fans have been flocking to Cm-244 place all season, and Friday will be no different. The Alphas will face Puredangles, a I.1 opponent in the semi-final of the Canadian National Cup. A victory would punch their ticket to the final, which Cm-244 place would be host. They would face the winner of Kenora Stingers and Shinodas.

"It's certainly an exciting time. The team as been battling to get into the top-4 all season, however, a National Cup title would put all league play in the back of our minds as fans. They had a little slump and it cost them so far. They've been on great form of late and I'm proud to be an Alpha fan" said AJ Cook, the Oshawa native who most would know for her role in Criminal Minds.

The Alphas have been in great form lately. While they lost their last match 3-1 to a desperate Vancouver FC club, they had gone the previous 9 league games undefeated. One of those wins, was a 3-0 drubbing of Puredangles. The other matchup this season was a 2-2 draw at Cm-244 place.

The Alphas will be will have their potent 1-2 offensive punch of Jacob Hodge and Ethan Purdon split as Hodge will be serving a single game suspension due to his 2 yellow cards over the past 6 National Cup matches.

"It's certainly disappointing, and not the type that a certain Mrs. in Wallaceburg gets when she decides to get frisky with a certain Mr. in Wallaceburg. No. This is the type of disappointment you get after a bunch of hard work only to have to sit out one of the most critical games of the season due to having 2 yellows over a 6 game span. It's frustrating and disappointing. But at least I don't have to take pills for it" said Hodge in a questionable reference to what can only be assumed as Wallaceburg Walking Dead's manager.

The Walking Dead were hoping to punch their ticket to the final-4 of the National Cup but their run came up short with a 1-0 loss to Stingers.

Nuclei News attempted to contact Aowyr regarding his team's great run but his secretary, who sounded a lot like a high-pitched Aowyr, said he was unavailable due to the large amount of internet spam he has to email deliver. We are still waiting for a return call.
