The Ontario Alpha Particles have been busy this month shopping for the future. They have signed four players this season, each showing great promise. canucks357 had the following comments:

"We are thrilled with some of our new arrivals. Sadly, our top prospect was out with an injury and missed out on some critical experience and training time. We have really got the injury bug lately and it's always seems to be to our key players. We have a theory..."

canucks357 is referring to injuries to both Gelien and now their star striker Hodge. The theory? Stay tuned.

With the injury to Hodge the Particles are forced to find secondary scoring. Ethan Purdon has been a consistent scoring threat but one player can easily be shut down. OAP are currently looking for options in the market and within the organization and academy. The key injuries come at the worst time with Champions League knockout stage coming up next week as well as the National Cup and the stretch run for the league continues.

"We have a theory. Aowyr and his antics are well known in this area. He may try to change his team name, he may change his underwear once a month too, who knows, but he doesn't change his ways. He's a sneaky bugger. I wouldn't be surprised if he hired some hoodlums to sabotage my players and my team. Sure jealousy is the best form of flattery, but at what cost? Clearly it's beginning to be a detriment to my club. I'm all for playground pranks but really? Getting zombies to commit various malicious acts to my players? No wonder my players are out for multiple weeks with freak injuries. I suppose that out there in the boonies there ain't much else to do but mess with your neighbours horse and send zombies after canucks357."

There has yet to be any proof of said actions, however there are various witnesses:

"I don't know if it was Aowyr, but some really sketchy people have been hanging around Curium-244 place. They sure ain't from around here. I've heard Aowyr was small, not sure if they're talking height, but these individuals certainly weren't short. Maybe it was him. Maybe it was some of his mutated players from over there in chemical valley. Who knows" said Constance Sweat of Guelph.

Tess Stickle spoke up and said "I hope OAP improve security, or I'm scared to bring my kids around with Aowyr and his people coming around..."

Clearly, times are changing in OAP-land.
