Elias Bejjani has claimed LELLO FC's title-winning campaign this season will go down in history as one of the greatest ever.

LELLO FC won their first Div II trophy in record-breaking style, having accumulated 124 points and scored 271 goals among other feats, and the Lebanese believes his side have now set the benchmark for future reference.

"First of all I do not think that the champion will reach 100 points again," Bejjani said in the post-game press conference after beating TheReds† 5-0 in the last game of the season.

"I don't think the champion will score 271 goals and concede only 4 in 42 matches. I think these are numbers that will stay in history for a long time."

"Finishing the season unbeaten was one of our main objectives and as I said before losing wasn't an option for the club this season."

"I personally expected more competition , there was some promising teams in the league but at the end we were too good for them."

"I would like to thank the players , the stuff and all the club's directors for doing a really great job , they were fantastic ! "

And when asked about the promotion to the Div I , Bejjani replied :

"We did it the best way , the direct promotion shows how strong our team is , the promotion was on the top of our objectives's list and accomplishing it with style is really remarkable."

"We will spend money on players , we will try to make the best team possible to fight against big teams next season , some players of our current teams will be sold and some of the starters will get benched , we'll do this for the advantage of the club."

Bejjani continued saying :

"I would like to thank all the fans for their trust and support and at the end we didn't let them down."

And when asked about the ambitions of the club in the next years he ended the interview saying :

"When the best is possible, better is not enough..."
