David Cox Coach of the Bohol Raiders held an early season press conference commenting on the past season achievements and this seasons goals.

"We were very happy with our results last season. As most of you know, it was a building year and we played our second and third strings a lot to build experience. In fact in the League Cup Final, we played mostly our third string juniors against Internacional. The tournament meant nothing to us and we were curious how they would hold up. We were delighted with their gritty performance.

"With so much 2 and and 3rd string play we still won the National Cup and came within a whisker of winning the league title. We know we are better than Internacional as we have far more depth."

"Quite frankly, are biggest worry is not Internacional, but the up and coming clubs that are clearly biting at our heals. Todays match against FC Academika was a perfect example. They played us very hard and tough. We expect that all these new rivals will be playing both us and Internacional very hard this season. There will be a lot more serious competition."

As for our goals this season, we hope to win either the League Title or the National Cup once again. With a bit of luck maybe we can win both. However, with the new tough competition where an upset is possible in almost every game, who knows what will happen. One things for sure its going to be an exciting season."
