After a tough road loss to league rival Internacional, Coach David Cox confirmed what had long been suspected the club would entire a short term rebuilding program and would probably be out of the league title hunt for 1 or 2 seasons.

"Last year was a wonderful season for the club and we proved that we are in the top ranks of Asia. Still it came at a cost as most of our top players have reached their near top of their potential. The club has decided not to mortgage the future for short term success. We will be moving most of these great veterans out and concentrating on the next generation of Raiders. We believe by season 9 we will once again be a favorite for the division1 title."

"Finally our opponents should be careful. Even in this rebuild situation we fully expect to be a winner and near the top of the table. Raiders will play tough football every game to make our fans proud."
