Their was a continuous party like atmosphere at the Alona Beach Bowl as the Raiders rolled over last place Avangard FC to a 7-0 victory and to their first Division 1 Championship.

The Raiders also made Asian league history by becoming the first club to win both the Division 1 title and the National Cup in the same season. This made the championship even more special.

Coach David Cox commented. "For the next couple of days our guys can party and celebrate their great achievements this season. They certainly earned it. That said, beginning next week we will be hard at it on the practice field. We know that there are many great clubs that will be gunning for us next season, in particular Internacional who clearly was the top contender this season."

"We do believe next season will be a lot different. We see 5 or 6 clubs that could compete for the top spot. It will be tough to win one of the top titles, never mind both. Nevertheless, this will again be our goal, we will be pushing hard to take our game to the next level."
