AFC Beddington Park 2 : 0 East Ham Utd

'What can I say? I guess this rounds off a perfect week for us. East Ham as we all know are a great side. To be perfectly honest we threw in a holding player, dropped deep and crossed our fingers. I took a chance on our new striker Torres and he certainly stamped his mark on the game with his two goals. Jean Guillerminot needed a rest anyway and it's always good to have competition for places.

The game itself was fairly frantic being a derby. Both teams had excellent opportunities. I have to admit the referee wasn't in my Christmas card list after two stonewall penalties and a disallowed goal. But we fought hard and got the three points.

Outstanding performances again from Nik Egklons our keeper. I think thats his seventh clean sheet in nine. And Zarko on the left wing was on top of his game. Overall the team is firing well and I'm very pleased.'

As far as I can tell, it's not just the team making it's mark on the division it's also their manager.
