'Bit of a derby game this one was for us. We decided to throw pretty much everything we had at them first half and the plan worked. Four up by half time was certainly impressive. But the way the team passed the ball and supported each other was even more impressive'. Bigfoot Ward said.

The team have certainly gelled well. Their ever impressive Hansey Appleton runs the midfield alongside a player they call 'The Kommandant'
(Ottmar Kuehner). The tireless German never gives up. An absolute belter of a goal brought about by Kuehner's work is described here;

Beddington White Wolves slow the game down by passing the ball along the back line, but a mis-controlled pass gives Clint White an unexpected opportunity to break forward on the wing. Ottmar Kuehner is the first to spot the danger and makes a lung-bursting run to try and get back.
Clint White shows great awareness of what's around him, but is caught in possession as he tried to skip past the challenge of Ottmar Kuehner, who starts a counter-attack the other way. Žarko Jakus joins the attack and receives a pass to feet. Jean Guilleminot races past his man and a pass is played into his path, he shoots from 20 yards out and scores an absolutely wonderful goal! That was supreme counter-attacking football, but the finish to the top corner was simply outstanding, what a hit!

Beddington Park face their toughest ask yet as they entertain league powerhouses, Luklonpl Team next out

Ward simply said,

'see how we go. Luklonpl are pushing for the league and were going to have to be 101% just to contend in the match. But we'll see. Football can be a strange game sometimes and our lads are playing well. It will certainly be one to watch !'
