'The lads did well', Bigfoot Ward said. 'We went there knowing that they were a top side and we just played a solid game. We passed the ball well and had quite a few chances. I can't ask for anymore. A draw was a fair result. It could easily have gone either way. '

Things don't look easy for Ward's fledgling side as they host The Darkside on Thursday (another top side).

'We'll do what we can'. Ward said. 'I'm not looking at anymore transfers this week, I'm happy with the lads as they are'. I think we can be a respectable side in this division. We started so far behind that we can't really do anything special this year. But next year, I'd say we'd go for it.
