With the transfer embargo lifted from the manager, AFC Beddington Park spent little time getting their new players in. 'Bigfoot' Ward said,

'It's been a long night. We marked out about a dozen lads that we knew would boost the team. We have a fantastic chairman here and he just said. 'Go for it'. So, we did. We basically strengthened in every part of the pitch and we have some very interesting characters on board !'

Indeed. Ward's new look team took on 'Man Sick U' today (away) and it turned out to be a very impressive display from the 'White Wolves'. Hansey Appleton the club captain scored two goals to show the manager that he was still in business. And new French striker, Jean Guillerminot looked very sharp and struck a wonder goal in the second half to make the score a resounding 3:0.

Special mention must also go to the new keeper, Niks Eglons who looked every inch a real pro.

Beddington continue to impress.
