AFC Beddington Park unveiled their new 1800 capacity stadium today. Local Mayor Douglas Coffers said, ' I'm really pleased the area has a new focus. I can't wait for the team to really get going'.

The new Team Manager, Nigel 'Bigfoot' Ward said, ' The whole set-up is looking really good. It's going to take us some time for us to establish ourselves but I'm really looking forward to the challenge'.

Asked about any future stars on his books Ward said, 'We have a couple of really good youngsters. Look out for a lad called Clarke Chadwick, he's only 15 but he has great qualities and has a huge future as a striker here.

Soon to be renamed, AFC Beddington Park also revealed their new home and away strip today which will be available in the club shop in around two weeks time.
