Guelph can breathe again. The response fans were hoping for was there as the experienced Alpha Particles rolled into Express FC for their second game in as many days in beautiful British Columbia.

In glorious fashion Borden opened the scoring with a gorgeous free kick that struck the back of the net. Purdon continued his quest for a shot at the scoring title with a goal in the 80th minute. Most remarkably, OAP did not receive a single card in the affair.

"They were focused, aggressive, and executed. I'm quite pleased" said Aleko Kalinkov the head coach.

It appears the mood is a bit lighter with the win. Players seem looser and OAP will have everyone back off suspension for the national cup game tomorrow and are hopefully injury free through the end of the season.

"I wouldn't put it past Aowyr to run one of the guys down with his car. He's sneaky like that. The good thing is the Pinto he drives only has one speed - reverse. So he won't be running anyone down anytime soon. We all know how Pintos are in rear-enders. If he were to take on Cornwell with that car, I think Cornwell'd win! Hahaha.
