July 29, 2010 (BARRIE) - cwakes, president and general manager of SmoothDolphin Sports and Entertainment announced today that The SmoothDolphins FC would be playing in the CONCACAF Cup. The 1st Annual CONCACAF Cup is a tournament involving some of the best teams from Mexico, Canada and the United States. cwakes says the 'Dolphins are looking forward to the tournament and will be excited to have fans from all across North America come and enjoy the recently expanded John Candy Field.

"Things are looking very very good for the 'Dolphins FC", says cwakes, "we just played the halfway mark of the first season and despite a rocky first few games, we have adopted some formations and tactics that have played out well and have put us in contention for a top spot in the league. Our facilities are building rapidly and we expect some very talented young men to come up soon through our minor program."

With attendence amongst the highest in the league and growing facilities, this club has a bright future.
