A stellar performance by goaltender Nikanor Zhamojdzin and near perfect execution of their game plan has lead the Bohol Raiders to their second consecutive National Cup of Asia.

Coach David Cox Commented, "This was a a hard and well deserved win for our club today. Our team played their game today which is tough disciplined defense. Trying to open up in offensive game against them is suicide. We learned this in our first match against them this year. We need to stick to our own brand of football inspired by the British Club Chelsea. We knew if in regulation we were tied, our goalie Zhamojzin made us a large favorite in the penalty shoot out. Our faith in him was once again well rewarded.

I can honestly tell you with this win we have already had a successful season. We have ended up 1-1-1 against Internacional in competitive play. This includes the second squads draw against them at home last week. Playing the second line shows that our club is truly more concerned about development this year than winning. It was great to see the young guys do so well. The team also managed to make the playoff round of the Champions league. While a low priority of the club this season, it was nice to have a respectable finish.

The Bohol Raiders now truly feel there second to no one in the Asian League. In this transition year we have still answered our critics on the pitch. If someone wants to prove they are better, there going to have to wait until at least next season to prove it."
