Today at R.J. Reynolds Field, in Winston-Salem, NC, the Twin City Defenders defeated the Thunderbirds on day 112/112 of season 11. It was their first match under the new management of LJMcEachin. The fans, jammed into the full-house, watched their home team take a 5:0 victory over the Thunderbirds. It started with a goal at 22 minutes by Clark Peterson assisted by Patrice Franko. The half ended with a convincing lead of 4:0. To wrap the game up Daryl Stafford scored with 6 minutes to go. Stafford also was awarded Man of the Match with 2 goals. The Thunderbirds seemed to have "card trouble" the entire match. Congratulations to LJMcEachin on his first win with the Twin City Defenders!
