F.C. Legionaries have made a major signing! The club announced today that Vilhelm Bergstrom, the Worldwide Star from Sweden, has signed with the club from Argentinas El Ciclon de Caseros for slightly more than 6.2 million dollars. Bergstrom was introduced today at a news conference. The twenty year old has scored 137 goals in just 195 league matches. He is also incredibly clutch in cup matches, with 18 goals in 16 matches. Manager Zoran Reljic hinted that more big signings were coming. "We love Vilhelm as a striker alongside Arif (Taemasib) but we are not necessarily done. There are other players we would like to sign to help us compete in League two but obviously that is not up to us entirely." Reljic refused to comment on whether the pressure was on tier three leading goal scorer Ed Berstein and Austrian comrade Johann Grass. "Obviously with Vilhelm there will not be much first team football for them but we are confident that they will sign with us again." Bernstein also reaffirmed his commitment to the club. "I have every intention of staying. Obviously it's Zoran's choice but Johann and I are confident we can contribute at the next level."
